- Sharing the Samples
For All the queries we receive, we will be sharing the sample of the coffee beans. Samples are usually send through our International Courier Partners. Once you receive the samples, You can check on the quality. After you are satisfied with the sample, you can confirm the Purchase Order(PO).
- Lead Time:
We usually take 15-21 days time upon receipt of Purchase Order and Payment . We need to ensure customers get what they pay for. Our QC team will check each bag to ensure the quality and weight of the content before loading.
- Export Packaging
Kenyan Arabica Beans are usually packed in 60kg Bags and we load 320 bags in a container to keep the truck axle load within the limit. For Exporting, we use Jute bags to allow coffee to breath as Green coffee beans are highly sensitive to moisture and require storage that allows air circulation. If the beans are packed too tightly, condensation will build up within the container and cause them to deteriorate and rot. At this stage in the process, the beans are essentially alive and will have minimum moisture. Since the green beans have a long travel ahead of them, the breathability of their vessel needs to remain consistent over a great period of time.
- Local Transport
Goods are loaded in the 1x20FT container from our premises in the jute bags of 60kgs each. We use Multi Axle Trucks/Trailers to ship to Mombasa, port from which the container is loaded to vessel. It take 12-24 hours to reach the port. Our trucks are with tracking facility to ensure the safety of the goods.
- Documentation
All the necessary documents are given to customers as per their country requirement including International Coffee Certificate, Phytosanitory , Certificate of Conformity (CoC) or any other which customer may require. Original BL, Commercial Invoice and Packing List will be couriered to the customer upon completion of the shipment
